BEFORE YOU APPLY
Before you apply for your American student visa, you will need to have been accepted by a US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved high school, university, community college, Christian college, career college or graduate school. The school should provide you with USCIS form I-20 A-B/ID, which you will need to fill out completely.

You will need to make sure that you can demonstrate the ability to support yourself--and any family members who may accompany you to the US--for the duration of your stay, and provide return travel to your country of origin.
